Admission Process – All Degree Courses
The admission process for undergraduate degree programmes at Samata Degree College is carried out through the prescribed online counselling and admission procedure. Students are advised to carefully follow each step and complete the required formalities within the stipulated time.
Step 1: Register in the Online Portal – OAMDC
Students must register in the online registration portal and complete the required registration process by providing the necessary details.
Step 2: Attend Web Counselling
Students should participate in the web counselling process. Three web counselling sessions are conducted for seat allocation as per the prescribed admission procedure.
Step 3: Report to the College
Once a seat is allotted, students must report to Samata Degree College with their admission form and the required documents for completing the admission formalities.
Step 4: Get Declaration from the College
The College confirms the admission on the OAMDC portal by officially declaring that the student has been admitted.
Step 5: Admission Completed
After completion of all required formalities, the admission process is finalized and the student becomes officially admitted to the college.
Admission Process – MBA
Admission to the MBA programme is carried out through the prescribed entrance examination and counselling process. Candidates are required to complete each stage within the specified schedule.
Step 1: Register and Apply for MBA Entrance Examination
Candidates aspiring to seek admission into the MBA programme at Samata should register and apply for the entrance examination, ICET, within the specified registration window.
Step 2: Appear in the Entrance Examination
Once the registration window closes, candidates who have successfully registered for ICET will be called for the entrance examination.
Step 3: Shortlisting and Counselling Process
- After declaration of the ICET result, counselling takes place for admission into the courses.
- Choice Filling and Locking: Candidates have to enter their choices and preferences of colleges and courses. Once entered, they can lock their choices.
- Allotment of Seats: After the choices are locked, seats are allotted based on merit and availability of seats.
- Document Verification: After seat allotment, candidates have to visit the designated helpline centre for document verification.
Step 4: Final Admission Process
After seat allotment through counselling, candidates must report to the college within the stipulated dates mentioned by the university to complete the admission formalities by filling the application form and declaration form accurately and submitting the required documents.
Management Quota
Candidates seeking admission under the Management Quota must have completed a Bachelor's Degree or related discipline from a recognized university with the minimum aggregate marks prescribed by the institution.
Admission Process – M.Sc. Computer Science
Admission to the M.Sc. Computer Science programme is carried out through the prescribed entrance examination and counselling process. Candidates should carefully follow the admission schedule and complete all required formalities.
Step 1: Register and Apply for AUPGCET Entrance Examination
Candidates aspiring to seek admission into M.Sc. Computer Science at Samata should register and apply for the AUPGCET entrance examination within the specified registration window.
