Guidelines governing the use, membership, and services of the College Library
Objectives of the Library
The Library is the intellectual hub of the institution, dedicated to supporting teaching, learning, and research. It strives to provide equitable access to information resources and services that meet the academic and personal growth needs of students, faculty, and staff.
Resource Access
To provide comprehensive access to print, digital, and multimedia resources aligned with the curriculum.
Academic Support
To foster independent learning, critical thinking, and research skills among students and faculty.
Digital Growth
To expand e-resources, online journals, and ICT-enabled services for anytime, anywhere learning.
Membership Policy
All bona fide students, faculty, and staff of the college are eligible for library membership.
Membership is granted upon submission of a duly filled application along with a valid ID card.
Library cards are non-transferable and must be produced when borrowing or renewing materials.
Loss of a library card must be reported immediately to avoid misuse.

Library Etiquette
Maintain silence within the reading hall.
Mobile phones must be switched to silent mode.
Handle books and periodicals with care; do not mark or fold pages.
Food and beverages are not permitted inside the library.
Overdue & Fines
A nominal fine per day is charged for overdue books beyond the loan period.
Lost or damaged books must be replaced or paid for at the current cost.
Library dues must be cleared before issue of Bonafide/Transfer Certificates.
Note: The Library Committee reserves the right to review and amend these policies periodically in the interest of better service delivery to the college community.
