WOMEN EMPOWERMENT CELL
The Women Empowerment Cell is constituted to promote a safe, supportive, respectful and inclusive environment for women students and members of the institution. The Cell works towards promoting gender equality, dignity, safety, awareness and empowerment and provides an appropriate mechanism for addressing concerns and grievances relating to women.
The Cell also undertakes awareness and sensitization activities and provides guidance on matters relating to women's rights, personal safety, prevention of harassment and gender equality. It seeks to ensure that concerns are handled with fairness, sensitivity and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities
- Receive and address grievances relating to harassment, discrimination and other concerns affecting women.
- Provide guidance and assistance relating to gender equality, prevention of harassment and personal safety.
- Create awareness regarding the rights, dignity, safety and welfare of women.
- Provide an appropriate mechanism for submitting grievances to the concerned committee.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle grievances in a fair, impartial and sensitive manner.
- Organize awareness programmes, counselling sessions and sensitization activities.
- Monitor the implementation of institutional policies relating to harassment and gender discrimination.
- Meet periodically and whenever necessary to consider matters placed before the Cell.
